Board of Directors

HDHM Operational Structure:

  • The organization maintains a Board of Directors with a spending budget of approximately $100,000 annually, serving the Greater Danbury area and occasionally beyond.

  • The Ministry has a paid bookkeeper who balances all the accounts monthly as well as a CPA who performs a professional Audit annually.

  • A liability insurance policy is in place for any unusual occurrences. HDHM has helped thousands of people over the years with a volunteer / donor base of roughly 1500+.

MEET THE BOARD…

  • Brian Elston

    CHAIRMAN

    Brian was born in Methuen, MA and moved to Brookfield, CT in 1968. Brian has worked with his families business, Elston Business Products, Paychex Payroll Service and Sealed Air Corporation and is currently employed at New England Uniform in Danbury, CT. Brian is a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Brookfield, CT.

    Brian has enjoyed participating in many HDHM functions and feels that HDHM is a blessing to the community and not only makes clients they help feel good but also makes the volunteers feel good about helping those in need.

  • Chris DeMarco

    PRESIDENT
    Chris spent the last 25 years at PepsiCo and the 10 before that at Duracell working in various Advertising and Marketing roles. He has 3 amazing children and an incredible wife Denise. 

    He volunteers at multiple charities including HDHM, Jericho Partnership and more recently Hillside Food Pantry and 21 Strong. 

    Chris was the “Bossman” Pete Brady’s “Wingman” for years before being appointed President by Pete and the HDHM Board in ‘25.

  • Randi Lyn Convertito

    Randi Lyn Convertito

    SECRETARY

    Randi grew up in Bethel, CT and currently resides in Danbury. She has a son and a daughter, and three beautiful grand children.

    Randi works for Patient Care Visiting Nurse as a Behavioral Health Central Intake Coordinator. She has two rescued animals, an American Bully dog named Kimber, and a cat named Colt. 

    She is proud that while her children were growing up, they were part of this amazing HDHM ministry and are continuing to serve in their adulthood.

  • Bob Elston

    BOARD MEMBER

    Bob moved to Brookfield at the age of 3 and attended St Joseph Grammar School, Immaculate High School and Western Conn. State University.

    Bob and his wife Tracey have two sons and currently live in Newtown. Bob runs his business, Elston Graphic Solution in Newtown, CT, and is an active volunteer at St Joseph Catholic Church in Brookfield.

    Bob is one of HDHM’s most active volunteers to date, having been awarded the Most Valuable Volunteer of the year in 2002.

  • Denise DeMarco

    BOARD MEMBER

    Denise is currently a Property Manager for 50+ residential and commercial properties. She has extensive paralegal experience having worked for multiple attorneys over a 20 year period. 

    Denise’s raised 3 amazing children and lives in a Candlewood Lake community. Her hobbies and interests include tennis, golf and watching sunsets.

  • Barbara Robertson

    BOARD MEMBER

    Barbara Robertson is the proud mom of 3 young adult sons and 2 grandchildren.

    She is currently the Director of Admissions at Iona Preparatory School and serves on the board of NextGenFace.

    Her passion is helping others and looks forward to advancing the mission of HDHM.

  • Kerri Brady

    Kerri Brady

    BOARD MEMBER

    Kerri is currently Sr. OT at  Stamford Hospital’s, Tully Health Center specializing in Neurological Rehabilitation and Lymphedema Therapy. Previously, Kerri held roles at Memorial Sloan’s Kettering and Burke Rehabilitation Hospital, specializing in Oncology and Stroke Rehabilitation.

    Kerri who is one of Pete and Carol Ann’s daughters and grew up in the ministry, holds an integrative nutrition counseling cert and enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and valley bulldog, Ozzie. 

  • Ellen Cartwright

    Ellen (Brady) Cartwright

    BOARD MEMBER

    Ellen who is one of Pete and Carol Ann Brady’s daughters began her teaching career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Loitokitok, Kenya.  Since returning to the US, she has dedicated over two decades to education, holding various roles at Rye Country Day School and Fairfield Country Day School. 

    Currently, she serves as the Director of The Boys Lab at FCDS.  Ellen who is also one of Pete and Carol Ann’s daughters is excited to continue working to serve alongside HDHM’s community members.

  • Robyn (Brady) Kelleher

    BOARD MEMBER

    Robyn who is also one of Pete and Carol Ann’s daughters is currently a 4th grade teacher at Candlewood Lake Elementary School in Brookfield.

    She has also held positions as 3s and 4s teacher at Prince of Peace Preschool as well as teaching 4th grade at Sarah Noble in New Milford and 5th and 6th grade Literacy at Whisconier Middle School in Brookfield.
