Pete Brady is a man of deep faith...
...who felt called by God in 1999 to start the HDHM ministry.
People called him "Bossman" because he was never afraid to go out on a limb...
...or pick up a paintbrush to help someone in need.
Pete sometimes used a megaphone...
...or microphone...
...to recruit, inspire and motivate volunteers.
He did have to pray for help from time to time.
He would bribe volunteers with food...
...especially sweets made by his favorite company.
After a hard days work...
...Pete would recognized a job well done...
...then relax with his soul mate Carol Ann.
Pete loved to keep it light...
...and have fun.
He especially enjoyed scooter rides with friends...
...and checking out the sights in Litchfield.
He enjoyed farm animals...
...for real.
Pete did his best John Travolta to keep HDHM "stayin alive" for many years...
...and helped many neighbors along the way.
He was appreciated by many at his 25 yr recognition event, even clients...
...but now it is time for Pete to ride off into retirement sunset...yea baby.
